SEIU Endorses Cliff Thompson In Supervisor Race

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- It's a big boost to the campaign of the newcomer in the 4th District Supervisor race.

Members of the Service Employees International Union endorsed Cliff Thompson during a Monday luncheon.

Thompson is seeking to unseat current Supervisor Ray Watson.

Recently, Thompson released his arrest record to public scrutiny.

Union members said Thompson has a good working relationship with Taft city employees and brings fresh ideas to the table.
