BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A Maricopa police officer has pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of sex with a minor.Garry Ferguson, 30, is still in jail in Kings County.Law enforcement officials said in addition to the charges in Kings County, Ferguson is under a separate Kern County investigation for child sex allegations.
Prosecutors in the Kings County case said there are three victims ranging in age from 13 to 16.Ferguson is on leave from the Maricopa Police Department.
