Shootings In East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County Sheriff's Department announced late Wednesday night that it was investigating two shootings in East Bakersfield.According to a sheriff's announcement, two shootings had occurred in the East Bakersfield area before 9pm Wednesday night, however none of those injured were expected to lose their lives.The shootings were believed to be related and based on scanner traffic sounded as if they may have been gang related.
