BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Two suspected gang members were arrested by the Kern County Sheriff's Gang Suppression Unit after they broke up a fight they said was over a bicycle.

Deputies were flagged down by a driver on Ming Avenue and South P Street Wednesday morning where they found two men hitting another man.

After breaking up the fight, police said they arrested Juan Gomez, 20, and Francisco Izarraras, 35, both of Bakersfield.

Both face numerous charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and participation in a criminal street gang.
