Ridgecrest Boy Dies After Hit By SUV

RIDGECREST, Calif. -- A 12-year-old Ridgecrest boy died after being hit by an SUV on Tuesday night.The incident happened on Down Street near Oregon Street around 7:45 p.m.
The boy, Alec Haines Turner, was taken to Ridgecrest Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.
