Fire Causes Slow Traffic In Kern River Canyon

KERN RIVER CANYON, Calif. -- Eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 178 in the Kern River Canyon were closed Friday due to a fire.
Westbound lanes are now open with two-way traffic control from Bodfish Road to Kern Canyon Road.
