POSTED: 4:40 pm PDT June 24, 2008

The man convicted in a crash that killed a 13-year-old boy in summer 2007 learned his fate on Tuesday.

A judge sentenced Gordon Tutton to 17 years in prison.

After a two week trial in May, a jury found Tutton guilty of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in a crash that killed Brock Bellue.

Tutton's car ran a stop sign, hitting the car Bellue was in, killing the 13 year old and seriously injuring his mother.
