Events: Public Fourth of July Fireworks Shows

Everyone loves a good fireworks show. Every city in America has them. Whether a neighborhood show in a cul de sac or a big city display, Americans are always on the lookout for an extravaganza of fireworks to help ring in the summer holiday spirit and celebrate freedom. Kern County has their fair share of shows with more than a dozen being held between July 3 through July 5.

And don't forget, even though the governor and some fire officials are urging people not to use even safe-and-sane fireworks, local stands opened for business on Tuesday. Scroll down for events...
