Julie Flannery, Mountain and Weekend Reporter

Julie joined ABC23 in Sept. 2008 and is the Mountain and Weekend Reporter.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Julie is adjusting very well to the cooler mountain weather and is enjoying her new community and neighbors in Tehachapi.

Julie is a recent graduate of The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University, where she received her degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sociology. While at the university Julie was apart of NewsWatch, a live student-ran news show, where she reported and anchored.

When Julie is not working, she enjoys watching movies, playing with her dogs, spending time with friends and family, and exploring everything the mountain areas have to offer.
