LOST HILLS, Calif. -- At approximately 8 p.m. on Sunday, Carlos Alexander, 21, was involved in a verbal altercation with several subjects in the Lost Hills area.

The altercation turned physical and Alexander was stabbed numerous times.

Alexander's father drove him to a gas station where police were called.

Alexander was transported to Mercy Southwest where he succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, one subject of interest is being interviewed by the Kern County Sheriff's Office Homicide Detectives.
