Police Seeking Communities Help In Locating Suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with multiple burglaries which occurred in late April in the Stockdale Towers, 5060 California Avenue.Between April 24 - 27, three businesses located in Stockdale Towers were the victim of a burglary.The suspect gained entry into the closed businesses and rummaged through desks and file cabinets removing money and valuables.
During the course of one of the burglaries, the suspect was captured on video surveillance. He is described as a: white male, late 40’s – early 60’s, thin build, light complexion, short brown or blonde hair, and wearing glasses.In the video the suspect appears to have a heavily bandaged right hand and is wearing a wedding ring on his left hand and a (possibly) gold watch on his left wrist.Anyone with information is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111 or Detective Chris Bowersox at 661-326-3538.
