LOST HILLS, Calif. -- A man is dead following an early-morning car crash on highway 46.Around 2 a.m. Thursday, The California Highway Patrol said a car crashed into a semi on highway 46 west of lost hills.The CHP said they don’t know why Thomas Corell, 56, who was the driver of the sedan, veered to the right out of his lane and crashed into the semi.
The coroner was called to the scene about an hour later.Traffic in the area was being diverted to the 33, but the CHP reported highway 46 was reopened about an hour ago.
