BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Bakersfield drivers have found their way on top of a list.According to Allstate insurance company, Bakersfield drivers have a sterling reputation on the road.An annual report by Allstate Insurance finds that drivers in Bakersfield are the second safest in the state.
Only drivers in Salinas are more cautious.Bakersfield also came in as the 67 safest driving city in the nation.According to the report, the average driver in Bakersfield will experience an auto collision every 9.8 years just below the national average of ten years.
