Man Wanted On Multiple Charges Sought By Police

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating a man who they say is wanted on multiple warrants for burglary, petty theft and assault.Mark Anthony Martinez, 49, is described as a 5 foot 10 inch man and weighs 225 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyesThe BPD said that Martinez has been identified as a being responsible for routinely stealing alcohol from various Albertson’s stores wherein he conceals the alcohol bottle in his clothing and exits the store.
Martinez has five outstanding warrants and two pending warrants for the same offense.He also has a warrant for assault and battery.Anyone with information about Martinez's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Robert Grady at 326-3871.
