Suspect Wanted In Connection With Family Reunion Killing
Bennie West Wanted For Questioning With T Street Killing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating Bennie Elwood West, 19, who is wanted in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a female on March 8, in the 1500 block of 19th Street.West stands around 6 feet tall, and weighs 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.West is also wanted for questioning in connection with the killing and attempted killing in the 200 block of T Street on July 5, in which Anthony Johnson was killed and four others were injured.
Two of the suspects in this case have been arrested, Darryl Stewart, 20, and a 15 year old female.
