Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes Through School Fence, Hits Woman
One Woman Struck After Car Drives Through Field

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- One man is under arrest, after driving through South High School's perimeter fence right into a football field at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, police said.William Green left the roadway at Monitor Street and Merrimac Avenue and crashed through the fence into a field, which was being used by several spectators for a Jack Frost football game.One woman was struck and received minor injuries, police said.
The man's car continued to spin out of control and finally came to rest after striking an out building.Bakersfield Fire Department responded and extinguished the vehicle and out building which had caught fire from the collision.William Green was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.
