FRAZIER PARK, Calif. -- A mother and daughter have been arrested for offering sexual favors on the Internet.

Deputies arrested Katherine Silvers and her daughter Sarah Sunshine in Frazier Park Friday afternoon.

"I've never seen anything like this until this," said Sgt. Mark Brown of the Kern County Sheriff's department.

The women posted want ads for a mother/daughter massage to potential customers on websites including Craigslist and backpage.com. The women also offered sexual favors for $60 as a bonus to their masseuse services.

"There was a bonus option which basically promised to make the recipient of the bonus option smile, get a massage, and then smile again," Brown said.

Officers said Silvers and Sunshine were both arrested after they reportedly offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover officer in exchange for money. The women had posted ads as recently as Friday morning, just hours before the undercover bust.

"As soon as the deputy walked into the house, they led him to a bedroom area with a massage table set up. they immediately took off their clothes and were completely naked and at that time they were arrested," Brown said.

Neighbors told ABC 23 off-camera that male customers would knock on their doors at all hours looking for Silvers' and Sunshine's massage service. The house is only accessible by dirt road, and the intrusions by customers had neighbors worried about their children's safety.

Silvers, 56, is an instructional aide at Rio Norte Jr. High School, a school within the William S. Hart High School district in Santa Clarita. She is on paid leave, but a decision would not be made on disciplinary action until after staff returns from a fall break on Wednesday.

Silvers and Sunshine were cited and released after being booked on misdemeanor prostitution charges and operating a massage parlor without a license. They are scheduled to appear in court in Taft on October 19.
