Kern Council Government's Darrel Hildebrand Dies

BAKERSFIELD, Cailf. -- Darrel Hildebrand, 56, a county employee and member of the Kern Council of Governments has died from complications related to health issues.The health department said that Hildebrand was tested for the H1N1 virus, but said it will take at least 3 to 4 days to confirm whether or not Hildebrand had the H1N1 virus.If Hildebrand had the virus, he would become the 11th person in Kern County to die from such complications as the H1N1 virus.
Hildebrand was the Assistant Director of the Kern Council of Governments.Co-workers of Hildebrand said his death has come as quite a blow and will always remember him as a beloved friend and colleague.
