'Hard On Hoes' Accused Of Burglarizing Over 50 Homes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Officers of the Bakersfield Police Department completed a two-month investigation regarding residential burglaries in the southeast area of the city of Bakersfield.The investigation showed over 50 residential daytime burglaries that occurred in this area. Detectives were able to identify a new criminal street gang identified as “H.O.H.” or “Hard on Hoes” that was responsible for the burglaries.On Thursday, officers served three search warrants on individuals who had been identified as suspects. Four additional probation searches were also completed. Three arrests were made during these searches and stolen property was located and seized, and three firearms were seized during the searches, police said.
During the searches, information led officers to an additional residence where a fourth arrest was made. During a search of that home, officers said they located marijuana growing in the rear yard in two storage sheds. Six guns were seized, including an assault rifle from the home.Twelve members of the “Hard on Hoes” criminal street gang have been arrested for residential burglaries, police said.The investigation is ongoing and additional arrest are anticipated.Arrested:DaMon McGuire - 43 Christopher Witfield - 19 Two male Juveniles ages 14 and 17
