POSTED: 11:12 pm PST November 21, 2009

A fight outside the Que Pasa restaurant at the valley plaza mall late Friday night ended with three men being stabbed and two others in police custody.

Officers learned about the incident when they were called to San Joaquin Hospital for two victims of a stabbing.

Ramiro Hernandez, 33, had several stab wounds to his upper body and left arm and Alexander Vera, 24 had a cut to his head.

Hernandez was transferred to Kern Medical Center where officers found a third victim, Adrian Robles, 27, who was stabbed once in the chest.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the men were injured after a fight broke out outside the restaurant when a group of people threw something at a vehicle.

The vehicle stopped and several people began to fight.

While the fight was going on the vehicle was allegedly stolen by Jesus Rangel, 23, who was later arrested.

Police arrested Cipriano Ramirez, 25, for the three stabbings. Ramirez was originally in the car.

Both Ramirez and Rangel were booked into the Kern County Jail.

Hernandez and Robles are in stable condition and Vera was released from the hospital.
