FRAZIER PARK, Calif. -- Kern County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are investigating a suspicious death in the 3800 block of Laurel Avenue in Frazier Park.

A Frazier Park deputy was following up on a case when he approached the home and smelled a foul odor.

Believing the resident may have been harmed the deputy located a relative who opened the door and that's when they found a dead male subject inside.

The investigation is in the very early stages, as investigators look to determine the cause of death and detectives were called out because there were signs of a struggle.
