BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- It's a labor or love thats going a long way for dozens of East Bakersfield High School students and their families. The school staff nominated 35 families of students from the school whom they feel are in need. The school clubs then donated food and money to put together the boxes which were then either picked up by the families or dropped off at their homes."When you show up there and there's nothing at the home, and then a mother tells you she's able to give something for Thanksgiving it makesyou feel good," said EBHS Outreach Coordinator Milton Henderson.Student Dominique Stencil said, "It's always good to help someone in need. It's always good to do no matter what."
Basket recipient Victor Barrera said, "It just makes you feel good because this county is always giving to everybody. It's hard now with everything."
