After almost a year of investigations, the Kern County Sheriff's Department said that 14 people have been arrested in addition to 8 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and $63,000.

Beginning in January, the Bakersfield Resident Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Sheriff’s Department Gang Investigations Unit initiated an investigation into suspected methamphetamine trafficking by Ronald Mallory, of Bakersfield.

During the investigation, officers said they identified several people in the Bakersfield and Lake Isabella areas they believed Mallory was supplying methamphetamine to.

Officers were able to arrest five people who police believe were provided narcotics by Mallory.

About 4 ounces of suspected methamphetamine was seized from the five people, police said.

The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is $11,500.

The people being charged in this phase of the investigation are:

  • Regan Holmes, white woman, 29
  • Charles Ray Baldwin, white man, 33
  • Dylan Shane Craig, white man, 33
  • Jeremy Curtis, white man, 26
  • Daniel Gleason, white man, 26
  • Ronald Mallory, white man, 41
  • Officers said they identified Juan Molina Flores as possibly being Mallory’s source of the methamphetamine. Officers began to focus on Molina’s activities and said they believe he was distributing multiple pounds of methamphetamine to several subjects in the Bakersfield area. It is believed he trafficked 5-10 pounds of methamphetamine per week.

They identified several of Molina’s co-conspirators and seized two pounds of suspected methamphetamine from one transaction. During that transaction, police said Alnibar Duenas was arrested with the two pounds of suspected methamphetamine having a street value estimated at $92,160.

On Nov. 20, the investigators served several search warrants in the Bakersfield area.

They said they located and seized over six additional pounds of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $276,000.

They also said they seized about $63,000 in cash and four handguns. Three vehicles were also seized, two having hidden compartments for the transporting of large amounts of narcotics and/or currency, police said.

The people being charged during this phase of the investigation are:

  • Juan Molina Flores, Hispanic man, 24
  • Pedro Jesus Roman (aka Flores), Hispanic man, 20
  • Victor Daniel Canal, Hispanic man, 34
  • Isamar Cortes, Hispanic man, 19
  • Shannon Terry, white woman, 37
