Police Searching For Missing Teen With Infant (Update)

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Missing at risk runaway juvenile, Arely Zometa, and her infant have been located. Prisma Alarcon and her child are still missing.Original Story - Feb. 4, 2010The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community's assistance in locating two at-risk runaway juveniles with infant children.
Sergeant Mary DeGeare said that Arely Zometa, 17, is a runaway from a local group home.Arely is described as Hispanic. She is said to be 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighing 108 pounds. She is said to have brown eyes and black hair.She is reportedly bipolar, aggressive and in need of medication she does not have, DeGeare said.Police said Zometa has her 3-month-old son, Jose Zometa, with her and was last seen leaving the group home on Thursday in a black Ford Explorer.Prisma Alarcon, 16, who is likely in the Los Angeles area, has been missing with her baby, Jaylen Alarcon, 2 weeks old, since Tuesday.Prisma is described as Hispanic. She is said to be 5 feet 5 inches tall weighing 115 pounds. She has the tattoo, "E Dog's Bitch" across her chest area, DeGeare said.She has been in contact with family and is believed to be in the area of 59th and Hoover in the Los Angeles area, DeGeare said.According to the family, Prisma has a history of drug abuse and being involved in prostitution.She has made statements to the family indicating she may give the baby away, DeGeare said.Anyone with information regarding either teen's whereabouts, is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
