Man Accused Of Killing Cohabitant

Police are searching for a man who they say stabbed and killed his cohabitant.

On Saturday, officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a domestic violence dispute in the 3700 block of K Street.

Officers said they found Arthur Arnold, 45, who was suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

Arnold told officers that he was was stabbed by his cohabitant, 26-year-old Jacob Josh Davis.

  • ABC23 contacted the BPD, and Sgt. Mary DeGeare confirmed that the man in the attached photo is in fact Davis.

    Davis is described as white, 6 feet tall and weighing 135 pounds. He has long brown hair, hazel eyes and a pockmarked face.

    Police said Davis fled the scene prior to the officers' arrival.

    Arnold was transported to Kern Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injury Tuesday.
