Man Found Dead In Motor Home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A man was found dead on the floor of his residence Wednesday morning.Around 9 a.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a trailer park in the 600 block of Terrace Way to reports of a dead person.Officers said they found a 50-year-old man on the floor of his motor home dead.
A friend had not heard from the man for about two or three days, and went told police he went to check on him.When he entered the man’s motor home, he said he discovered his friend was unresponsive.Officers said the man had been dead for several hours before being discovered by the friend.Foul play is suspected and the man's death is currently being investigated as a homicide.Confirmation of the man's identity and notification of next of kin is pending.Anyone with information on the homicide is urged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
