BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County Sheriff's Department said that four men were arrested and 644 grams of heroin was found during a drug investigation.On Wednesday, the California Multi-jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team conducted a narcotics investigation, with assistance from the Sheriff’s Office Major Violator’s Unit, K-NET, the Gang Suppression Investigations Unit and HIDTA.During the investigation, the sheriff's department said that four men were arrested on various narcotics charges.
Deputies said that 644 grams of heroin was located and seized. Additional evidence consistent with narcotic sales and trafficking was also located and seized.Deputies said that $2,500 was seized pursuant to asset forfeiture. The heroin seized has an estimated street value of over $64,000, deputies said.Santiago Gomez Gurrola, 42, pf Paso Robles; Juan Manuel Beltran, 38, of Porterville; Zoilo Soliz Acosta, 38, of Porterville; Arcadio Sanchez Molina, 25, of Lindsey, were all arrested on charges of possession of heroin for sale, importing, selling, or furnishing controlled substances (heroin) and conspiracy to commit a crime.All four men were booked into the Central Receiving Facility and held on bail of $500,000 each.
