Pete Parra Officially Files for 30th Assembly District

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Pete Parra, a lifelong resident of Kern County, has spent his entire career focusing on job creation, water and economic development issues in the Central Valley.A former Bakersfield School Board Member and Kern County Supervisor, Parra also served as a job training director for more than 20 years, where he helped thousands of local residents obtain jobs.Friday, he officially filed as a candidate for the 30th State Assembly District.
He is said to put the interests of the Central Valley first above partisan politics or party bosses to bring good jobs to our community and get the Valley on the right track toward economic recovery.
