Sheriff's Department Recovers $20K In Stolen Equipment

LAMONT, Calif. -- The Kern County Sheriff's Department said that it has recovered $20,000 in stolen equipment and have arrested three men in connection with grand theft and embezzlement.On Feb. 3, the KCSD began investigating the theft of satellite television equipment from Linkus Enterprises located at 3154 Landco Dr. in Bakersfield.Around 9 a.m. on Friday, detectives said they served a search warrant at 10605 San Gorgonio St. in Lamont.
At the residence, detectives said they located and recovered approximately $2,000 worth of the stolen equipment.A second search warrant was served at 10306 San Emidio St in Lamont. At this residence, detectives said they recovered approximately $18,000 worth of the stolen equipment.Three men were located and arrested at the residence.Jose Luis Rodriguez, 34, Sergio Jesus Rodriguez, 27 and Able Rodriguez, 25, were all arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail on charges of grand theft and embezzlement.
