2 Men Robbed At Knifepoint At Burger King

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two men involved in a robbery.Two men told police that around 11 p.m. on Feb. 8, they were seated outside the Burger King at 2649 Calloway Drive , waiting for a ride when a group of six people arrived in a Cadillac.Police said four of the men in the Cadillac surrounded them and two of the four robbed them at knifepoint.
During that time, one of the men in the group entered the Burger King and purchased something. That man was captured on a surveillance camera.After the robbery, police said, the group of six fled in a white late-model Cadillac Seville with four doors, stock wheels and tinted windows.The first robber described as a white man between 18 and 20 years old. He is said to be 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, a dark sweater with a white design, blue jeans, was clean-shaven and armed with a knife.The robber was described as a white man between 18 and 20 years old. He is said to be 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. He had a long blond goatee and was last seen wearing a blue ball cap with the bill turned up and a plaid flannel shirt over a gray hooded sweatshirt. The victim said he was armed with a knife.The other men who arrived and left in the Cadillac are did not participate, are described as three white men 18 to 20 years old. The driver had a shaved head and olive complexion. There was also a white woman, between 18 and 20 years old with dark shoulder-length hair.Anyone with information regarding the robbery or any of the men involved is encouraged to call Detective Heredia at 326-3873.
