67 Grams Of Heroin, 53 Grams Of Cocaine Found During Search

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Kern County Sheriff's Department deputies said that during a search, they discovered 67 grams of heroin and 53 grams of cocaine in the home.On Wednesday, deputies of the Metropolitan Patrol Division went to 2225 Gale Street.Deputies said they had received information that the occupants of the residence were involved in the sales of narcotics.
Deputies contacted Denice Cardenas who consented to a search of the residence.While searching the residence, deputies said they located 67 grams of heroin, 53 grams of cocaine and $2,150.The street value of the seized narcotics is $10,000, deputies said.Cardenas was arrested and booked at the Kern County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale.
