Free Nutrition, Physical Health Workshop

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Network for a Healthy California and the Kern County Superintendent of Schools are hosting a FREE and fun workshop on the healthy benefits of physical activity and eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.Beginning at 5 p.m., on Sept. 1, this hour long session will engage families with ways to become physically fit together.Recipe ideas, cooking demonstrations with taste testing and cookbooks to take home are included.
This is Part 2 of a two part series promoting healthy choices for healthy families.Please join us at the Claude W. Richardson Child Development Center, 1515 Feliz Drive in Bakersfield for this FREE, fun educational experience. Children are welcome.
