Police Release Video Of Possible Northwest Prowler

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- The Bakersfield Police Department has obtained surveillance video of a man they believe was involved in a prowling incident on Aug. 17 on the 11000 block of Valley Forge Way.A resident who lives in the neighborhood located footage on his outdoor security system of a man walking in front of his house in both directions within a time frame consistent with the incident and consistent with the man’s direction of escape, officials said.

Man Accused Of Breaking Into 2 Homes
Police said the man appears to be white or Hispanic in his late teens or early 20s. He is said to have a medium build with dark blond or brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark shirt, lighter-colored shorts, dark shoes and white socks.Anyone with information related to the incident or the man in the video is encouraged to call Detective Pete Cavazos at 326-3538.
