Statues, Stars And Great Country Music

BAKERSFIELD -- Some might say that Buck Owens is golden, but now he's appearing in another color: Bronze.
On Wednesday night, Buck plans to unveil 10 life-size bronze statues of country music legends, including himself. Other honorees include Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, among the living, as well as the late Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Sr.

The ceremony is slated to kick off at 8 p.m., including the dedication of the statues and performances by Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley, among others. Tickets sold out almost immediately after the announcement in early May.
