Bakersfield Song Up For 'Greatest City Song' On Country Music Channel
BAKERSFIELD -- The Country Music Channel is having a special, "The Twenty Greatest City Songs," and Buck Owens' "Streets of Bakersfield" is among the top five songs.
The Country Music Channel has launched an online viewer poll, asking their fans to cast their vote for their favorite.

To vote for Bakersfield and to help get "Streets of Bakersfield" in the top spot, visit the Country Music Channel Web site.
Country Music Channel is scheduled to air the special on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m.
Visitors to the Crystal Palace this Saturday will be treated to a special viewing of the "Streets of Bakersfield" segment on the big screen prior to Buck Owens'performance at 7:30 p.m.
