DA's Office Offers Plea Deal In Teacher Sex Abuse Case
BAKERSFIELD -- The Highland High School teacher accused of having a relationship with a student has been offered a plea deal by prosecutors.
The District Attorney's office offered former math teacher and wrestling coach Ann Miller a sentence of two years in exchange for pleading guilty to one count of performing a lewd and lascivious act on a child.
Miller's defense attorney, Gael Mueller, did not return 23ABC News' call on Wednesday.
Investigators said the victim told them he and Miller had been involved in a relationship and "sexual touching" took place.
Miller has been placed on unpaid administrative leave.
