Two Bakersfield Firefighters Injured In Nevada Blaze

ELKO, Nev. -- Two firefighters were released after treatment for burns suffered while battling a wildfire Wednesday northeast of Elko.
Fire officials said the two firefighters from the Bureau of Land Management's Bakersfield, California district were taken to the Elko hospital after suffering minor to moderate burns in the Mudd fire.
They said the two were caught by flames outside their fire truck during the initial attack on the blaze.
