"Prussian Blue" Defends Beliefs On Local Radio Station
BAKERSFIELD -- The controversial twin duo "Prussian Blue" made an appearance Thursday in Bakersfield.
They said they're being inaccurately portrayed in the media.
Lamb and Lynx Gaede, along with their mother April, appeared on a local talk radio show Thursday morning, saying they have the right to their beliefs.
The family said recent media attention, including a Primetime episode that aired on ABC and the Broadway music "White Noise," inaccurately portrays the singers.
Prussian Blue gained national exposure after they were not allowed to perform at the Kern County Fair last year, because of security concerns over backlash against the girls.
The family recently moved to Montana, where the girls are focusing on school.
April Gaede said they believe in a culture that celebrates their European ancestry.
