SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -
Hundreds of concession workers at AT&T Park walked off the job Saturday in a one-day strike against the food and beverage subcontractor they work for at the ballpark.
A spokeswoman for Unite Here Local 2 says about 750 workers took part in the walkout against South Carolina-based concession management firm Centerplate.
The union says the concession workers have gone without a pay raise since their last contract in March 2010.
The San Francisco Giants and Centerplate both said they didn't expect any disruptions in service during the game Saturday. Managers and replacement workers were behind food counters during the game.
The union says the concession workers' primary dispute is with their employer, Centerplate, and not the Giants.
Workers planned to return to work in time for Sunday's game.
