Police make a second arrest in Fox Theater fatal stabbing

(UPDATE Feb. 21 1:22 p.m.) Police made a second arrest in the fatal stabbing outside of the Fox Theater.

Jesse Reyes, 33, was taken into custody on Niles Street on Tuesday and was booked into Kern County jail for murder, conspiracy and participation in a criminal street gang.

(UPDATE Feb. 20 9:30 a.m.) Bakersfield Police has identified the suspect connected to this incident as Efrain Elias Ugues.

He is facing charges of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit a crime and participating in a street gang.

(UPDATE 12:26 p.m.)

The Kern County coroner identified the victim as 19-year-old Kasey Villegas.

(UPDATE 6:08 a.m.) Bakersfield Police now say a fight broke out inside the Fox Theater as the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony concert wrapped up. Theater staff asked the people involved to leave the theater, and that is when it turned violent. 

BPD says the man was struck multiple times, receiving multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

(UPDATE 12:01 a.m.) Bakersfield Police say a man stabbed outside the Fox Theater died from his injuries. It is now being investigated as a homicide. 

BPD say they do not have any suspect information at this time.

Bakersfield Police say a stabbing took place outside the Fox Theater Sunday night resulting in major injuries. 

Officers originally responded to the theater around 11:00 p.m. for reports of a fight after a concert for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
