BAKERSFIELD - Police are searching for six teens after a shooting Thursday morning.
The shooting was on East Belle Terrace near Belle Terrace Park at about 10:55 a.m.
Police say a 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were walking when a group approached them. The group asked the couple if they were gang members.
The couple said they were not and kept walking. Two teens in the group doubled back and fired on the couple, police said.
The boy was grazed by a bullet.
The two suspects ran in a southeasterly direction with the remainder of the group toward the neighborhood southwest of Cottonwood Road and Cheatham Street.
