The deputies said they were met on the street by the childs stepmother, who was holding the child, the KCSD reported.The deputy immediately started CPR; however, the boy did not respond to treatment and was pronounced dead at the home, deputies said.Sheriff officials said the 3-year-old died while living with his biological father's ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend in Taft.No arrests have been made."It's got to stop.
