KINGS MILLS, Ohio - A deer may find itself in detention after getting trapped inside an Ohio middle school early Monday.

The 10-point buck jumped through a window at Kings Junior High School in King Mills, about 45 minutes east of the Indiana border, sometime overnight, and was found stuck inside a classroom when school officials arrived early Monday.

A local game warden and the fire department tranquilized the deer and transported it out of the building as students and staff waited in the school's cafeteria.

No one was injured, but the buck did sustain some injuries. The animal's condition was not released.

Classes resumed at about 9 a.m.

School officials said they have never had anything like this happen before at the building.
