LOW-COST VACCINATION, LICENSING AND MICROCHIP CLINIC FOR DOGS

The City of Bakersfield Animal Control Division would like to invite the community out for a low-cost vaccination, licensing and microchip clinic for dogs living within the city limits. From 9 a.m. until noon they will be offering low-cost DAPP (distemper/parvo) vaccines, rabies vaccines, licensing and FREE microchips. It will be held at Jastro Park which is located at 2900 Truxtun Avenue.

CSUB FINAL JAZZ CONCERT

The CSU Bakersfield Jazz Ensemble presents its final concert event of the year at 8 p.m. in the CSUB Doré Theatre. The concert will feature small and large jazz ensembles under the direction of CSUB music instructors, Jim Scully and Doug Davis.

KERN COUNTY NUT FESTIVAL
The Kern County Nut Festival is from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and is presented by the Kern County Museum Foundation. It is taking place on the grounds of the historic Kern County Museum, 3801 Chester Ave. Tickets at the gate are $12 for adults, $7 for children. Kids under age four are free.

BUENA VISTA MUSEUM "JUST FOR KIDS" ELECTRICITY, MAGNETISM AND MOTORS

Join Fred Hallmark as he demonstrates hands-on the many laws of science and talks about some of the great scientists like Bernoulli and Faraday. This event is from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Normal admission applies but BVM members are free.
