BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Sunday, July 6, 2014

WOFFORD HEIGHTS BLOCK PARTY

Celebrate the end of the Fourth of July weekend and enjoy a wide range of food, vendors, arts and crafts booths, live music, kids' games, and other things before the Lake Isabella firework display tonight. The block party is starting at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. The event is taking place in Wofford Heights, on Hwy 155 and Wofford Heights Boulevard at the Native American Culture Center. There is no entry fee. 

"WILLY WONKA"

You can also enjoy a special showing of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" today at the Edwards Stadium 15. The classic film tells the story of a boy named Charlie who wins a contest to tour the magical chocolate factory owned by Willy Wonka. Experience all the fun of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" today at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $7 for kids and seniors.
