Florida man jailed for calling police about 80 times for Kool-Aid, hamburgers, weed

Jarvis Sutton faces charges of misusing 911 system

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - 911 operators daily hear calls of emergencies throughout the day, but one Florida man tried to use the operators as a delivery service.

On Sunday, Jarvis Sutton, 34, dialed 911 and requested that police bring him three items: Kool-Aid, hamburgers and weed, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Sutton of St. Petersburg, Florida, called 911 approximately 80 times on the day, the newspaper reported.

Sutton never received the Kool-Aid, burgers or weed, instead he was arrested and book into the Pinellas County Jail. As Sutton was being taking to jail, an officer wrote that he started chewing foam attached to the metal caging in the back of the police cruiser, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Sutton is facing charges of misusing the 911 system.
