Have you ever dreamed of walking down the red carpet of a New York City premiere locked arm-in-arm with George Clooney?
If you have $10, that dream could come true.
A donation of that amount to the Satellite Sentinel Project (SSP) could land you and a friend the opportunity to escort the movie star lothario to the debut of his new film, “Monuments Men.” The event is Feb. 4 in New York City.
Every entry supports the organization’s effort to deter war crimes, according to SSP. Entries need to be submitted by Jan. 30.
In addition to having their photo snapped on the red carpet, the contest winner will join Clooney backstage for his appearance at the Late Show With David Letterman. They’ll also attend the movie’s after-party and be chauffeured to and from each of the events in a limo.
Don’t worry, the hotel and the two tickets to the Big Apple are included in the prize, as well.
SSP launched on Dec. 29, 2010, with the goals of deterring a return to full-scale civil war between northern and southern Sudan and deterring and documenting threats to civilians along both sides of the border, according to the organization's website.
