INDIANAPOLIS - A man from Carmel who drove to Indianapolis hoping for a sexual encounter with "Tasty" instead encountered a man who robbed him at knifepoint, police said.
The 36-year-old man told investigators that he had arranged through the "casual encounters" page on Craigslist to meet a woman who called herself Tasty at an apartment on Indianapolis' northeast side on Saturday.
When the man arrived at the apartment, in the 4600 block of Round Lake Road, he said he tried to find the apartment when he heard a door shut above him and ran into a man who was wearing a ski mask and holding a knife.
The masked man, described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, told the victim to give him everything he had, according to a police report.
The 36-year-old man told police he gave the masked man $125, an Android cell phone, condoms and his keys.
The masked man ran away, and the victim went to a liquor store nearby to call police, investigators said.
Officers found the man's keys and the condoms outside the apartments. The cash and phone were not found.
