Study: 1 in 4 adults regret social media posts

Emotionally charges posts biggest offenders

If you’ve ever posted something on social media sites then realized it was a bad idea, you’re not alone.

A recent study reports that 1 in 4 adults regret posts they’ve made on social media, according to CNN.

The survey by “Findlaw.com” said emotionally charged posts are the biggest offenders. Of adults who were studied, 29% said they feared getting fired or turned down for a job.

Researchers gave some tips on posting: think before you post, check privacy settings and limit your personal information.
