1 killed in freight train crash

FRESNO, Calif. - A fatal freight train crash in Fresno is causing Amtrak delays tonight.

ABC affiliate KFSN said the crash happened near Palm and Dakota in central Fresno.

Two people were hit by a freight train, one was killed.

Amtrak officials said two San Joaquin trains have been delayed by the crash.

They said one train in each direction is impacted.

Amtrak officials said they don't know when the accident will be cleared and when they will able to resume service.
